The adhesive on the airtight patch will lose its stickiness in the freezer. You can use this feature to freeze it for a few minutes before removing it to effectively reduce the risk of residual adhesive~

common problem

Problems with anti-fog air-tight patches on glasses

Basically it is possible! But there are two exceptions. One is a mask with a special shape like N95, which will not stick smoothly; the other is a thin paper mask. The front of the mask that is too thin will let the hot air exhaled by the human body leak through, so it can be stuck on. Anti-fog airtight patches cannot completely prevent glasses from fogging up.

Okay! But it should be bonded with the cloth mask and washed. Remember to fold the mask in half and put it in a laundry bag, then put it in the washing machine and clean it according to the normal process. Or you can just hand wash it gently, but remember to avoid excessive twisting when wringing out, which may cause degumming or deformation. After washing, just air dry naturally. Do not tumble dry.

The anti-fog airtight sticker has a shelf life of 5 years when not in use, but in fact, as long as the adhesive is still sticky and the foam is still elastic, it can be used! When used continuously, it is recommended to replace it every two weeks to avoid bacterial growth that affects skin health. If the washing method is correct, the service life can be extended. However, if the anti-fog airtight seal is found to be damaged or deteriorated after washing, it is recommended to replace it immediately, otherwise there may be a risk of the embedded iron wire being punctured.

This is a natural phenomenon. Generally, if no special dye is added to foam, it will oxidize and turn yellow under the catalysis of ultraviolet irradiation or high temperature. It does not affect its material properties and safety, and you can continue to use it with peace of mind.

Please first check whether the anti-fog airtight patch correctly fits the inner upper edge of the mask. If so, the anti-fog effect may be weakened by the following two possibilities:

  • Reason 1: The anti-fog airtight patch does not closely fit the surface of the face and nose, causing hot air to leak out and cause fogging. Please re-adjust and strengthen the shaping of the layering, and avoid excessive changes in facial expressions, both of which can reduce the occurrence of gaps.
  • Reason 2: This situation is also very common. That is, when wearing a full-face or 3/4-face helmet, the exhaled hot air is blocked by the anti-fog airtight patch. It does not leak from the upper edge of the mask, but leaks from the cheek sides at both ends of the mask. It cannot be accumulated in the helmet. Spread, further causing glasses to fog up. The solution is to keep the two ends of the mask as close to the surface of the cheek as possible, and loosen the lower edge of the mask closer to the chin to allow most of the hot air to leak out from below, which can greatly reduce the fogging of glasses.

Please check whether your mask meets the following conditions?

  • The inner fabric is made of low-grade non-woven fabrics or flannel and other materials with more lint.
  • It has not been cleaned for a long time. There is a lot of dust or dirt on the surface, and there may even be cosmetics or facial cream on it.
  • It’s old and has a lot of hair balls or is disconnected in many places.

If the above situation occurs and cannot be ruled out for the time being, please try to stick it once and press it for 10 seconds to strengthen the fixation.

We are deeply sorry to the consumers who encountered this situation! Because the adhesive is in contact with the fabric for a long time, the stickiness will become stronger and stronger, so the longer it is applied, the greater the chance of residual adhesive. If you have been using it for a period of time, before you want to replace or remove the air-tight patch, you can put the entire mask in the refrigerator and freeze it for five minutes . After taking it out, remove the air-tight patch immediately without removing the ice, which can greatly reduce the residual glue. Chances of happening! If residual glue still occurs, you can use a "cloth dipped in alcohol" or an "alcohol cotton pad" to wipe it back and forth. The effect is very good! If you just want to replace the air-tight tape, you can ignore the remaining glue and directly paste another cover.

The anti-fog airtight tape has a certain thickness, so glasses with larger mirror surfaces may be pushed up and shift the focus, causing vision to be affected. If your glasses are of large mirror type, please remember to tighten the anti-fog air-tight tape to reduce its thickness. On the other hand, try to stick the anti-fog airtight patch along the curve of the upper edge of the mask, and the closer to the edge of the mask, the better. This will lower the height of the mask when wearing it and avoid touching the lower edge of the glasses.

This zero-pressure memory soft foam will slightly change its hardness with temperature. The lower the ambient temperature, the higher the hardness. Therefore, it feels harder because it has just been taken out of a colder environment. If it comes into contact with the human body for a period of time and the temperature rises, the hardness will decrease.

All materials of the anti-fog airtight patch are made in Taiwan! Its zero-pressure memory soft foam is provided by Taiwan's high-quality foam manufacturers, and its products have passed ROHS safety certification. In addition, the fabrics on the inner and outer layers of the mask have also passed SGS safety certification, so please use it with confidence. In addition, the anti-fog airtight patches and Taiwanese cloth handmade masks have been insured with RMB 20 million product liability insurance.
