The net convection [anti-haze fabric mask series] can effectively block the penetration of oil droplets and liquid droplets, preventing pollutants from contacting the mouth and nose.
The recommended number of cleanings is 200 times. The average person washes it about three days or once a week, so it can be used for about two years without any problem. The recommended cleaning method is "gentle hand washing". After all, the cleaning intensity of the washing machine in everyone's home is different. In addition, you can add general neutral detergent (cold detergent, hand soap, shower gel, etc.) to assist cleaning, or you can wring it out and dry it, but do not dry or iron it!
If you still want to wash it in a washing machine, be sure to put it in a laundry bag for protection, and set the cleaning and dehydration modes to soft wash, which will be safer. In addition, please be careful not to twist the wire on the upper edge of the mask too much when wringing it out to avoid the wire from breaking due to undue stress.
N95 is actually an industrial standard, not just a type of mask. The testing conditions for N95 are: non-oily particles (sub-micron sodium chloride) with a particle size of 0.075 micron CMD (equal to 0.26 micron MMD), flow rate 85 L/min, and as long as the test result reaches more than 95%, it is what everyone often calls an N95 mask. As for our masks, using the same standard, the new product inspection result is 86.6%, which is about 90% effective of N95. Therefore, as far as new products are concerned, the filtering effect of N95 is better than ours.
However, N95 masks generally use electrostatic filtration and can only be used for 6 to 8 hours. They cannot be washed and cannot resist oily pollutants (kitchen fume, automobile and motorcycle exhaust, etc.), which are the strengths of Xpure filtration technology. . Therefore, if we exclude high-risk industrial environments and just want to fight PM2.5 in daily life, our masks are not inferior to N95 in terms of overall protection efficiency. The 3M cloth masks that everyone loves to use when riding bicycles are used to block wind and sand and keep warm. They have "absolutely no" ability to combat PM2.5! Please pay attention to this~
General medical-grade masks mainly use "germs" as the test target for filtration efficiency, but anti-PM2.5 masks use "sub-micron sodium chloride" as the test target for analogous granular pollutants in the air. The two standards are not the same. different. In terms of purely combating PM2.5 level particles, the initial capabilities of the two on filter media are similar. It's just that medical masks are electrostatically disposable, with a very weak structure and poor air tightness. They cannot withstand water washing or strong air flux, and their filtration efficiency is not long-lasting (it is recommended to replace them every 4 hours), so they are only recommended for epidemic prevention!
At best, PITTA can only block pollen and large particles of dust. Its filtration ability is very poor, and it cannot filter PM2.5 at all!
Generally speaking, children between the ages of 3 and 10 are suitable for wearing children's masks. However, each child's body shape develops at a different speed. In addition to judging by age, use a tape measure to measure the distance from the chin to the base of the ears. If it is within 9 to 12 centimeters, it will be sufficient. Wear the children's version, and if you are older, wear the adult version.
The frequency of cleaning depends on personal living habits and tolerance. Generally speaking, if you feel that the breathing resistance increases or there is an odor when wearing a mask, it is almost time to clean it. In addition, although the inner layer of the mask contains silver ions that are antibacterial and deodorizing, it is still recommended to wash it at least once a week to avoid skin discomfort caused by bacterial growth.
When should you replace your mask? If it has been washed 200 times, or if you look at the mask towards a light source, if the inner filter material appears cracked or damaged, resulting in uneven light transmission, it is time to replace it~
If the ring is missing when you receive the mask, please contact us directly and we will resend it immediately. But if it disappears after being used for a period of time, you can purchase it at our PChome store ( please click here for the store link ). Each set of two rings only costs 10 yuan. If your ear straps are sewn shut (purchased in 2017), you can cut off the visible ear straps and replace them with new ones yourself. If your ear straps are not sewn shut, you can directly take them off and replace them with new ones. If you are not familiar with wearing ear straps, you can refer to our instructional video ( please click here ) or instructional page .
, there are demonstrations on how to replace ear straps and loops!
It’s normal! In April 2018, Net Convection began to change all the ear straps of anti-haze masks to movable types. Although the exposed cut surface of the ear straps somewhat affects the appearance, it has the following two advantages:
- The movable type means that the stress-bearing area of the earband is not fixed at the same place, which can disperse the stress and slow down the elastic fatigue of the earband.
- If the ear straps are damaged or the elasticity is fatigued, you can use hairpins or wires to replace the new ear straps provided by Net Convection. There is no need to spend time and round-trip freight to send the mask back to Net Convection for repair.
